Dear members of the Irvington Chamber of Commerce,
First and foremost, I extend my gratitude to Theresa Pardalis and Alliance Rehab Center for graciously hosting our monthly meeting. It's always wonderful to come together in such a supportive environment. I'd also like to extend a warm welcome to our newest member, Nadine Etienne of ODO Achievement Center. Nadine's organization, focused on promoting teen development and leadership skills, brings a valuable perspective to our discussions on community outreach and development.
During our meeting, we emphasized the importance of partnerships, particularly highlighting our collaboration with PSE&G and the Sustainable Jersey program. This initiative aims to empower local businesses by providing resources to enhance energy management practices. By leveraging PSE&G's expertise and cost-effective energy efficiency programs, we can drive sustainability efforts while reducing operational costs. I'm thrilled to announce that the application process for this program will soon be underway, starting in April 2024. Best of all, it's a seamless and free process, making it accessible to all interested businesses in our community.
Our commitment to nurturing talent and fostering connections between our youth and business leaders remains unwavering. We're developing a program that will facilitate meaningful interactions between capable students and our successful business owners. Through interviews and mentorship opportunities, we aim to inspire the next generation of leaders and provide them with valuable insights into various industries.
In addition to our focus on sustainability and youth development, we also explored exciting initiatives such as the establishment of a Farmers Market and Community Garden. These projects not only enrich our community but also create new opportunities for local businesses to thrive. Furthermore, we discussed enhancing the Chamber's visibility at township events like National Night Out and Unity Day, reinforcing our commitment to community engagement and support.
As we move forward, let's continue to collaborate and innovate, driving positive change and prosperity within our business community. Together, we can achieve great things and ensure a vibrant future for Irvington.
Thank you for your dedication and enthusiasm.
Warm regards,
Roscoe Coleman
President
Irvington Chamber of Commerce
